My New Paph

These are some pictures of my new (and first) paphiopedilum. This one is a paph. Michael Koopowitz 'Stephen' x Paph. Gigantifolium 'Awesome'.

This is the plant. It will take about 2 or more years to reach blooming size, from what I've heard. I bought from Piping Rock Orchids and I am very happy with it.

This it the bottom of the plant. I am wondering what the white bump on the side is... maybe a new growth? There is a small yellow bump that looks like a root.

And finally, this is what the flowers will look like, or close to this.

I am very excited to see these flowers in a couple years. Hopefully this orchid will have a good journey to blooming size.
